 Many of the rivers which tumble down from the heights of the Taurus mountains have formed deep gorges in the rock. These are often littered with large rocks and boulders and many have small and large waterfalls. There are a couple of places where organised river walks are available. Most places it is just a matter of having some suitable shoes and getting on with it. If you fancy this ask at the hotel for some ideas. For most people this is something you might want to include in the itinerary for a day trip. Some gorges can be accessed by abseiling if you feel that adventurous!
